Can’t make it to Avicii’s set this weekend? Don’t fret, he’ll be back to spin Memorial Day Weekend.

We have a winner! Local DJ Truelove was the last man standing in Sapphire Pool & Dayclub’s residency competition, besting 11 others and taking a BeatClan DJs roster spot. DJ Truelove started his residency at the new pool club late last week, and you can catch him there every Thursday to Sunday.

Philanthropy goes so well with sunscreen. The Palms Pool kicked off a series of Monday fundraisers this week, with proceeds from their $100 cabanas going toward local nonprofits. The next batch are on June 10, 17 and 24, with funds supporting Ronald McDonald House, Special Olympics Nevada and The Center. Expect “special guest DJs” and poolside dining from nearby Heraea.

Popular afterhours spot Posh is getting a little nip and tuck. The nightclub, neighbor to Crazy Horse III strip club, will celebrate its newly redone digs on June 8, with Shahs of Sunset’s Lilly Ghalichi hosting for the night.

And summer’s unofficial kickoff is right around the corner, so mark your calendar for these Memorial Day Weekend highlights: AN21, Max Vangeli and Kris Nilsson at Tryst on May 23, Avicii at XS on May 24, and Diddy at Rehab on May 26. Lastly, as if he wasn’t busy enough with his Summer Love residency at Marquee, Kaskade will put on an extra show at sister-club Tao on Sunday, May 26. Sleep now. Next weekend there’s no hope.
