The Strip and UNLV basketball. For a certain fraction of the public they might be the first two things that come to mind at the mere mention of Las Vegas. And this year they finally unite.

For the first time in program history the Rebels will play a game on the Strip, taking on Utah on December 20 at the MGM Grand Garden Arena. It’s the nightcap of a doubleheader that will also feature former UNLV coach Lon Kruger’s Oklahoma Sooners taking on Washington.

The event benefits Coaches vs. Cancer and is not included in UNLV’s season-ticket package. Tickets start at $37.
