Club Notes: Zedd, Ghostbar, Ritmo and more

In case you missed it, Ghostbar is coming back to life. Now owned by San Manuel Gaming and scheduled to reopen this spring as the first Native American owned and operated Las Vegas casino resort after two years of pandemic closure, the Palms tweeted on January 18 that the celebrated rooftop nightclub will soon make its return. Initially operated by the N9NE Group under the Palms’ original opening ownership, the Ghostbar space was transformed into Clique Hospitality’s Apex Social Club in 2018 when the resort was renovated by previous owners Station Casinos. More details on the venue are expected soon.

Zouk Group Las Vegas resident headliner Zedd will open the NHL All-Star Game this weekend in Las Vegas at T-Mobile Arena as the event comes to the Strip for the first time on February 5. The Grammy-winning DJ and producer will perform during player introductions as the game is broadcast live on ABC starting at noon.

Speaking of Zouk, the nightlife and daylife company anchored at Resorts World Las Vegas announced its artist lineup for 2022 this week, including ongoing headlining residents Tiësto, Zedd, DJ Snake, deadmau5, Louis the Child, Becky G, G-Eazy, Jack Harlow and Madison Beer. Featured artists with special event performances in the works include Jonas Blue, Breathe Carolina, Cash Cash, Cheat Codes, Disclosure, Duke Dumont, Zen Freeman, Galantis, Tay James, Sunnery James & Ryan Marciano, Jonah, Charly Jordan, Madds, Nervo, R3hab, Ruckus, Dee Jay Silver and Slander. And artists set to perform in the Sunday Moonbeam party at Ayu Dayclub this year include Ameme, Blond:ish, Camelphat, Carl Cox, Eli & Fur, Nic Fanciulli, Green Velvet, Kaz James, Jamie Jones, Chelina Manuhutu, The Martinez Brothers, Nicole Moudaber, Themba and Zhu. Ayu Dayclub is set to open for the season on March 5.

Zouk Nightclub also is producing a pop-up experience at the fourth annual Mammoth Film Festival in Mammoth Lakes, California on February 3-6. The festivities will include an underground nightlife experience at Red Lantern with sets by DJs Ruckus and MisterE, surprise performances and more.

Encore Beach Club at Wynn dropped plenty of spring dates via social media this week, including headlining appearances from the likes of Carnage, Dillon Francis, David Guetta, Kygo, Marshmello and Meduza. The club is set to open for the season on Friday, March 4 with Francis, Kim Lee and Justin Credible anchoring the first weekend of daytime shows at EBC.

The 2022 Bar & Restaurant Expo, formerly known as the Nightclub & Bar Show, returns to the Las Vegas Convention Center on March 21-23 and has partnered with many of the hottest club destinations on the Strip for exclusive networking and nightlife events. A welcome party is set for March 21 at Azilo Ultra Pool at Sahara Las Vegas followed by the Platinum Party during Art of the Wild at XS Nightclub at Wynn, and a March 22 bash takes guests to Omnia Nightclub at Caesars Palace. Pollen will present a new Latin music-based, multi-day experience at several Vegas club venues during Cinco de Mayo. Ritmo will feature Puerto Rican superstar Farruko, Billboard Latin Music Awards’ New Artist of the Year Myke Towers, choreographer-turned rapper Nio Garcia and other artists performing May 5-8 at Tao Beach, Hakkasan, Omnia and other hot spots. Rounding out the lineup are Agudelo888, Arcangel, Blessd, Caleb Calloway, Dimelo Flow, DJ Adoni, Emilia and Justin Quiles. For more information, visit pollen.co.
