So why didn’t Steve Aoki toss his five-deck neon cake into the audience during his November 21 birthday-party set at Hakkasan? We’re told he only jettisons the flatter, sheet-style variety, which are made a particular way for throwing and caking. The Henderson resident did his new ’hood hangout Lucky Foo’s a solid two days later and stopped by the restaurant/lounge—with Tiësto and Martin Garrix in tow.

In other southeastern bar news, the Barley’s Casino & Brewing Company beer line is being offered throughout the Valley, including at Hard Hat Lounge, Legends Sports Bar & Grill and various Station Casinos locations.

It’s only November and already the Vegas version of DJ musical chairs has begun. Last week, Morgan Page tweeted that his December 13 gig at Surrender would be his last for the Wynn/Encore nightlife program, but stopped short of revealing the location for his next Strip residency.

One more New Year’s Eve talent announcement: Robin Thicke will perform at Foxtail.

In sighting news: E! News co-host Jason Kennedy had a hell of a bachelor party weekend, spending November 21 at Lavo for dinner and Marquee for late-night fun, and finishing the revelry on Saturday at Tao, where he was presented with a ball-and-chain cake ahead of his marriage to fashion writer Lauren Scruggs. … And Wynn/Encore DJ Max Vangeli and DJ Paul (Three 6 Mafia) attended the November 22 debut of Steve Angello’s Reflections residency.
