Whether you’re a Downtown denizen or a suburbanite who occasionally visits the urban core, a new app could help you save money and discover novel attractions.

This month, DTP Companies (formerly known as Downtown Project) launched the app/loyalty program Explore DTLV (exploredtlv.com), allowing users to earn points and rewards for money spent.

In addition to an event calendar, there’s in-app ticket purchasing and food ordering. Participating businesses include Gold Spike, Big Ern’s BBQ, Inspire, Fiddlestix, the Smashed Pig and more. Rewards range from free sodas to the chance to shoot fire from the giant Mantis at Downtown Container Park.

“Explore DTLV leverages the synergy between our businesses while being fully integrated with our point-of-sale system to make sure our customers are getting a seamless experience,” DTP’s digital marketing director Rene Durruthy said in a press statement.
