Spiegelworld’s hit show Absinthe, which is about to celebrate its 10th anniversary in Las Vegas on April 1, just reopened on March 17 at Caesars Palace. Now, the rowdy company’s latest creation, Atomic Saloon Show at the Grand Canal Shoppes inside the Venetian, is primed for a return to the stage on May 5.

It will be the first time Atomic will be performed since the Strip shut down in March 2020 to fight the spread of COVID-19. Absinthe first reopened last October before tightening safety restrictions forced it to close again.

Spiegelworld’s third Vegas show, Opium at the Cosmopolitan, is also expected to return to live performances this spring or summer.

“We successfully blazed a trail by reopening Absinthe last October, and we have continued to refine our protocols to make the experience of seeing one of our shows as safe as possible for our performers, staff and guests while not compromising the show’s punch,” company founder Ross Mollison said in a statement. “We are now ready to apply what we have learned to get Atomic Saloon Show back onstage and Boozy’s floozies back to work!”

Boozy Skunkton is one of the main characters in the Wild West-influenced Atomic, which originally opened in the fall of 2019 in an artfully renovated former nightclub space on the third level of the luxury shops at Venetian and Palazzo.

The show’s schedule will include performances at 7 and 9 p.m. Wednesday through Sunday. Tickets starting at $149 are on sale now at spiegelworld.com.

The Atomic Saloon Show theater, which normally seats around 250, will open for audiences of just 108, seated at cabaret tables on the venue’s two levels. A limited number of stage-side VIP booths are available for $2,000, offering parties of up to four a little extra space and a magnum of Krug Champagne.
