Midway through its 10th season, Majestic Repertory Theatre is expanding to new audiences.

The Downtown Las Vegas theater recently announced that it’ll bring two cult favorite horror productions—Empanada Loca and The Craft’d: An Unauthorized Musical Parody—to Los Angeles this February with their original casts. Artistic director Troy Heard’s darkly comical take on the 1996 film The Craft garnered viral attention in 2022 and again last fall. Meanwhile Empanada Loca, a grisly, one-woman horror tale that originally premiered off-Broadway in 2015, has returned to Majestic several times, delighting live theatergoers with a taste for terror.
