Curl Up and Die, Caravels to team for Bunkhouse reunion show

Image

Revered Las Vegas metalcore band Curl Up and Die has announced its first local show in 14 years, and the quartet won't be the only reunited act onstage that night.

The show—August 30 at the Bunkhouse—will also showcase the one-night return of Caravels, who played their final gig at the same venue in January 2015. Vocalist Michael Roeslein and bassist Cory Van Cleef soon relocated to Brooklyn and Portland, respectively, but both will be back to join former bandmates George Foskaris (drums), Matt Frantom (guitar) and Dillon Shines (guitar)—all three of whom now play in Vegas band Dark Black.

Also on the bill: LA band Entry and local act World Tension.

Curl Up and Die—featuring Mike Minnick on vocals, guitarist Matt Fuchs, bassist Ryan Hartery and drummer Keil Corcoran—played its first show since 2005 on June 22 at Anaheim's Chain Reaction.

Tickets cost $15 and are on sale now.
