The gap between Downtown's Fremont East and the Arts District will close a little this month, as new stores begin opening on the ground level of Juhl apartments on Bonneville Avenue and Fourth Street.

Nothing has opened yet, but among the tenants coming soon to Juhl are a pho restaurant from the owners of Le Thai and District One Kitchen & Bar; Box Human Landscapers, the waxing boutique that proudly coined "sac & crack" (it says it on their door); home AV outfitters Audio Video Boutique; Greens and Proteins health-food cafe; Classic Jewel cocktail lounge; and contemporary furniture company Tui Lifestyle.

Currently a few tech startups are headquartered at the residential and retail building, but that's about to change. Welcome to the neighborhood!
