Burgerim looks to change the Vegas Valley’s slider game

No matter the time of year, there’s nothing more comforting than a stacked cheeseburger. And the only thing that beats eating one is devouring three delicious, snack-sized ones. Fast-casual chain Burgerim (pronounced “burger-eem”) opened here in September, and president Oren Loni knows exactly what I’m talking about.

Loni’s Israeli-launched restaurant began franchising in 2011 in response to a market full of “boring burgers.” The Mediterranean-leaning concept took off, and within two years Loni had opened 80 locations across the globe.

While it isn’t a completely groundbreaking concept, Burgerim does do things a little differently, changing up the burger game with seriously customizable sliders that are worth the wait whenever you’ve got the craving. Burgerim’s signature 2.8-ounce patties are served in packs—choose from “uno,” “duo” or “trio”—or grab a party box loaded with 16 different burgers.

The best, albeit slightly overwhelming part about Burgerim is the amount of customization that goes into each burger. Choose from 11(!) different patty types, including beef, Wagyu beef, lamb, chorizo, salmon and falafel, then choose your toppings. Bypass the Wagyu (which costs $1 more) and go for the equally tasty lamb or beef patty, and always put an egg on it.

And there’s more than burgers here. Take advantage of Burgerim’s 55-cent wing special every Wednesday, and make sure you load up on the sweet garlic sauce. Don’t leave without trying the house fries. These bad boys fall somewhere between a fry and a chip—light and crispy on the outside and soft and fluffy on the inside. Dunk them in Burgerim’s cool house sauce and you’ll be hooked in no time.

Burgerim 9635 Bermuda Road, 702-724-9400. Monday-Thursday, 11 a.m.-9 p.m.; Friday & Saturday, 11 a.m.-10 p.m.; Sunday, 11 a.m.-8 p.m.
