Enjoy prime rib from your own kitchen with Lawry's At Home.

Las Vegas Italian food institution Ferraro’s is set to reopen for dinner on February 3 with operating hours of 5 to 11 p.m. Wednesday, Thursday and Sunday, and 5 p.m. to 1 a.m. Friday and Saturday. Ferraro’s, which opened in 1985, had been operating throughout 2020 but closed temporarily on November 29.

In new Italian restaurant news, Al Solito Posto at Tivoli Village has reset its official opening date to January 27.

In Strip Italian food news, Eataly at Park MGM is celebrating the company’s 14th anniversary this week with discounts of up to 50% on various ingredients and items including wine, coffee, pasta, extra virgin olive oil and more. The sales conclude with Dry Age Day on February 5, when the butcher counter will offer half off select Creekstone Farms dry-aged cuts like ribeye, porterhouse and bone-in New York strip. Todd English is set to officially debut his 6,500-square-foot food hall The Beast at Area15 on January 28. Formerly a pop-up concept, it will feature a communal dining area with two bars and a mixology program, as well as a diverse menu including tuna tartare wonton tacos, chili lime watermelon salad, short rib ragu fries, an assortment of sliders and Buffalo- and Korean-style chicken wings. The Beast will operate Monday through Thursday from 5 to 9 p.m., Friday from 5 to 11 p.m., Saturday from noon to 11 p.m. and Sunday from noon to 8 p.m.

Lawry’s The Prime Rib has launched its new Lawry’s At Home website offering certified Angus beef prime rib dinners to prepare at your own home, serving anywhere from four to 16 people. The packages range from six to 18 pounds of prime rib ($299-$569) and also includes favorite side dishes like creamed spinach, mashed potatoes, Yorkshire pudding, gravy, salad dressing and whipped horseradish as well as recipe cards, a meat thermometer and more. All packages will arrive frozen and ready to thaw, with detailed instructions and videos aavailable on the website.
