Dream Zone

I have dreamt this at least four or maybe five times. Last night I dreamt it again. I’m going to my shed to get something, and there are two cages with rabbits. I have a closer look, and I see that I have forgotten to feed the rabbits. I feel guilty because I have neglected the animals and hurry to get them some fresh food. After a while the rabbits recover and seem to be fine again. But then I forget about them again.

Lauri:To the dreaming mind a shed represents the place within your psyche where you store your ideas and abilities. This may be why you discovered rabbits in there that you had forgotten to feed. They represent a talent or skill or project that you are not “feeding” or nurturing, something you have caged up and locked away. There are two cages, so perhaps there are two things you have not been working on or utilizing. Rabbits are known to multiply, so perhaps they represent a project or idea that, with the proper care and attention, could multiply and grow. But you forget about them again! What have you recently tried to revive only to let it slide again?

Anna replies: All the time I have been focusing on the rabbits, what they had to tell me, and I forgot to have a look at the other details in my dream. Your explanation of the shed was the key. Yes, I’m not using my talent, which is writing. A long time ago, I planned a book of pictures I’ve taken and (inspired) text. The other idea was to write stories for children. Both ideas have been locked away.
