Spring brings a bachelorette stampede

Bachelorette parties spawn a common yet paradoxical breed of night-crawlers. On the bright side, the breed travels in packs of presumably young, nubile women looking for a good time (the most revered group in Vegas). On the bad side: flashing plastic penis tiaras.

Though the breed’s natural habitat is cheesy male revues, not all traditional nightspots are equipped to chase the bachelorette’s business (if it comes on its own, no reason to say no). However, three brave venues are now hunting the veil.

Seeking safety in numbers, MGM Grand’s Studio 54 and Tabu Ultralounge are offering $100 bottles and $150 bottles of champagne to bachelorette parties.

Brides-to-be seeking a last meal before getting into the dress can find reasonably priced “Fling Before the Ring” bachelorette packages at Ra Sushi at the Fashion Show Mall. At $20-$35 per person, the packages include appetizers, sushi, entrees, desserts, and “Gold Digger” and “Last Chance for RA’mance” cocktails. Just check your tiaras at the door.
