Days after wrapping up the 30th anniversary edition of its iconic Electric Daisy Carnival dance music festival at the Las Vegas Motor Speedway, Insomniac has announced what may be the biggest, boldest change to the event since it moved to Las Vegas in 2011.
Returning to the Speedway in 2027, EDC will unveil a new Dusk Till Dawn concept that will span two consecutive weekends and 12 days. The festival will begin with EDC Dusk on May 14-16 and continue with EDC Dawn May 21-23, with the full Dusk Till Dawn Experience running from May 13-24, which will extend beyond the festival grounds with curated events throughout Las Vegas.
Tickets for 2027 go on sale this Friday, May 22 at noon, and festival goers will be able to choose whether to attend the first weekend, the second weekend or both. General admission one weekend passes will start at $400, with two-weekend passes at $600. For more information, visit lasvegas.electricdaisycarnival.com.
“I’m really excited to introduce Dusk Till Dawn as the next evolution of EDC and offer new ways for headliners to experience the music, art, connection and community that make this festival so special,” Insomniac founder Pasquale Rotella said in a statement. “We wanted to reimagine EDC as a new type of immersive journey across 12 days and two consecutive weekend celebrations in one city we love. This concept gives headliners the freedom to choose their own path and join us for one or both weekends, while enabling us to continue evolving, experimenting creatively, and sharing new moments under the electric sky.”
The 2026 edition was another sold-out event May 15-17 featuring more than 450 artists, and EDC introduced a new event, the World Party Parade, on the Las Vegas Strip before the fest. The 2027 announcement did not confirm the return of the parade, but artist lineups, themes, stage programming and citywide events for the new Dusk Till Dawn experience will be announced at a later date. The 2027 festival also is being designed “to have lower capacity, providing more space on the dance floor and making travel and accommodations easier," according to the announcement.
