Money’s tight right now. Gas is so expensive that we usually coast from Town Center to Rainbow. And that’s why these free concerts—most of them outdoors—are such a vital civic good: They can fill in the parts of your summer lost to shrinkflation.
Summer Concerts
The Downtown Rocks series at the Fremont Street Experience brings shows by Finger Eleven (June 27), George Birge (July 4), Sleeping With Sirens (July 11), Mayday Parade (August 8) and Story of the Year (August 22).
The Sunset Jazz Series at Sunset Station welcomes Adrian Crutchfield (June 20), Patrick Lamb (July 18) and Nicholas Cole (August 15) to the resort property’s side lawn.
Fergusons Downtown presents its usual curated lineup of singer-songwriters: Richard Mann (June 20), Sarah Somebody (June 21), Greyson Bos (June 27) and Ella Preslyn (June 28).
The lawn at Downtown Summerlin offers upbeat sounds to cap off a shopping day: Moonshiners and 241Z (June 24), Lyte Bryte and Rustyn Vaughn (July 1), Envy and Andrew Diessner (July 8), Louder Than Luck and Justin Centeno (July 15), and Jeremy Cornwell and Ilan Dvir-Djerassi (July 22).
And the ever-dependable Las Vegas-Clark County Library District mixes it up with indoor shows by Medusa (July 25, Clark County Library), Juadines (July 31, Windmill Library) and Mike Oregano (August 9, Windmill Library). That’ll help us coast through the summer.
