Carla Pellegrino is back. The chef who originally came to Las Vegas to open Rao’s at Caesars Palace has been in Miami the past two years, leading Touché, the rooftop restaurant at sizzling-hot E11even nightclub. Expect Pellegrino to spend time at her Bratalian restaurant on Eastern Avenue and launch new projects soon.

“Real barbecue” is coming to the Strip. Alicart Restaurant Group (Carmine’s at the Forum Shops) is bringing Virgil’s Real Barbecue to the Linq with a 14,000-square-foot location with poolside patio set to open in the summer. Virgil’s menu features flavors from Tennessee, Kentucky, Texas, the Carolinas and Missouri, and the Vegas version will offer live music nightly.

José Andrés will host Dine-N-Dash on February 5, a culinary tour of SLS Las Vegas to benefit Three Square and World Central Kitchen. Guests will experience signature bites and sips from the resort’s seven restaurants, including Andrés’ Ku Noodle and Bazaar Meat, along with a cooking demonstration with Andrés and Curtis Stone at the Foundry. Tickets start at $99 and are available at slsvegas.com/dinendash.
