It’s time again to show our respect to a certain beloved tequila cocktail. National Margarita Day is February 22, and this year it falls on a Saturday—which means 9-to-5ers will have a full day to recover.

Start your celebration at Javier’s at Aria, where all of the margaritas are hand-shaken and made with premium tequila, and one in particular will really put you in the mood.

“The Margarita con Aroma de Mujer ($14) was one of the first margaritas that we developed for our inaugural California location,” says general manager Omar Sosa. “The name means ‘scent of a woman,’ and a splash of Chambord adds the perfect feminine touch to this classic margarita.”

Ingredients:

1 ½ oz. Tequila Don Julio Blanco

4 oz. Javier’s signature sweet and sour (available at restaurant, or sub in preferred brand)

splash of Chambord

salt and lime (garnish)

Method: Rim glass with salt. Add Don Julio and sweet and sour to shaker with ice and shake. Pour splash of Chambord into empty glass, then add shaker contents into glass. Garnish with lime.
