STK’s weekend brunch is every bit as stylish and delicious as its dinner fare

STK at the Cosmopolitan, with its curvy, moody interiors and dim lighting, is one of the sexiest restaurants in the city. It’s a destination that lends itself to a nighttime rendezvous, or a pre-club dinner spot before you hit up Marquee to dance the night away.

But no need to wait after dark to enjoy this hot spot. STK recently added a weekend brunch to its offerings, with no shortage of libations to get the weekend going. Bottomless mimosas and Bloody Marys are a steal at $35 a person, so imbibe the afternoon away. You also have full access to STK’s outstanding cocktail program, and the signature Old Fashioned selections are always in vogue no matter the time of day. (The Valencia Pig, with Whistlepig, maple and orange, is entirely midday-appropriate, in our opinion.)

The brunch menu features STK’s curated steak selection by the Linz Heritage Certified Black Angus Program, including an 8-ounce Wagyu flat iron ($45) and an 18-ounce dry-aged bone-in strip ($84). Choose from a variety of sauces, including chimichurri, peppercorn or STK Bold to accompany.

If a steak is too much of a commitment this early in the day, try the Lil’ Brgs ($29), sliders of Wagyu beef on a sesame seed bun with STK’s special sauce. It’s adorable and shareable. For more classic brunch fare, you can’t go wrong with the smoked pork belly Benedict ($29), with maple-glazed bacon, shishito peppers and poached eggs topped with Hollandaise on a toasted English muffin. A more decadent version is the lobster and eggs Benedict ($39), which you should follow with something sweet, like the cinnamon French toast ($25), a rich brioche topped with berries, cream cheese icing and maple syrup.

It turns out, STK can make a meal just as sexy during daylight hours. At any rate, it’s a good kickoff for whatever plans you may have for the rest of the weekend.
