Did Someone Say Free?!

DJ Inferno, who hosts the popular Open Tables Wednesdays at Ra Sushi, has an offer you can't refuse. He's got his own guest list going for free admission to events he's involved with. The latest is The Favor party at Celebrity on Saturday (www.thefavor.co.uk), followed by Sunday's after-hours at Seamless. Simply visit

New Award and GM for Tabú

After six months as events coordinator for the Silverton, Laine Fust is the new general manager of Tabú. The MGM's DJ Frankie introduced the tall beauty March 24 during the Club World Awards in Miami. It was a better introduction than most, with Fust at the podium to accept the ultralounge's unprecedented third-in-a-row for best lounge in the world. Before all that, Fust worked the boards for three years as a showgirl in Jubilee! at Bally's. She also packs a mean right hook—not that she'll need it with Tabú's top-notch staff.

Now That's Class

Speaking of awards, Sunday saw Body English's Student Body Class Election bring out the best of Vegas' clubland in good-natured voting, with winners walking away with engraved trophies. Voted Class Bully was UFC fighter Tito Ortiz; Host With the Most is MGM-Mirage's Dave Pappas; Most Enterprising/Best Handshaker went to Pure's Kelly Doll; Guy Wilson at Spearmint Rhino is Most Likely to Steal Your Girlfriend; Ice's Marc Jay and Vegas Exposure's Chris Parsons tied for Most Popular; DJ Hollywood, now spinning at Seamless and Pure, won for Most Talented; Jason Strauss at Tao is Class President and Vice President is Matthew Minichino of Empire Ballroom; Mecca Entertainment's Bill Le won School Spirit; Secretary of Gorgeousness is Jet's Lian Console in some close competition; and in our favorite category, Most Likely to Win a Pulitzer, 944's Matt Keleman beat out our own Xania Woodman in a victory so close (less than a point) that the Hard Rock's Jack Lafleur is having a second trophy made for her.

That's Why It's Surreal

Jahna Steele, ex-Crazy Girls dancer named Vegas' sexiest showgirl in 1991 before she was outed as a transsexual born John Reis Steele, isn't having it with Alexis Arquette, one of the cast of the current season of The Surreal Life. Steele claims Arquette is not the pre-op transsexual she claims to be, but rather just another drag queen. "America is going to be duped into thinking that a transsexual is someone who is flamboyant and completely over the top," says Steele in a press release. "It's confusing."

Later, They Played Hacky Sack

"I'm just here to get drunk and watch."

—American Pie's Jason Biggs explains his presence at the Venetian Poker Room's grand opening pre-party at Tao to our very own Xania Woodman.

Cocktail o' the Week

Bella Peach

Sensi and poolside at Bellagio, $14

Ingredients

1.25 ounces Absolut Apeach Vodka

0.5 ounces cassis de bordeaux

1 ounce white peach puree

1 ounce fresh sweet and sour

Splash of cranberry juice

One quarter of juice from half a lime

Shake and strain into an ice-filled glass

Garnish with three fresh raspberries

Ignore the clouds, summer's right around the corner and not much is better than kicking back at one of Bellagio's five elegant, old-world pools. As a matter of fact, we suggest one Bella Peach per swimming hole.
