Reba

Songstress unlocks the key to our heart

Robert Wiley-Brown

What do you say to an entertainer who has sold more than 49 million albums, received 15 American Music Awards, 12 Academy of Country Music Awards, seven Country Music Association Awards, two Grammys, a People's Choice Award and has just started her fifth season in what has become the WB's No .1-rated television program?

How about, "Hello, Reba, and welcome to Las Vegas!" The Las Vegas Hilton, which has been home to stars like Barbra Streisand and Elvis Presley, swings open its arms May 3 and warmly welcomes everybody's favorite "Queen of Country Music" and former champion rodeo barrel racer, Reba McEntire.

Even though McEntire (whose latest album, #1's, has recently gone platinum) will be giving it her all as usual during her stay in Vegas, the concerts themselves are much more than just a guaranteed good time for all in attendance. The proceeds from the Whirlpool-sponsored performance series "Key to the Heart" will go to benefit one of McEntire's favorite charities, Habitat for Humanity. So now, for a limited time, watch a legend at work and help families and communities in need.

And before what is sure to be one of the best shows in Las Vegas comes to an end, you will also certainly be thanking the good Lord above that McEntire decided not to pursue her dreams of barrel racing, but instead to share her voice and her heart with all of us.
