Mash-Up

And You Can Party in Your PJs

Can't get enough of OPM's mix of the hottest hip-hop, reggae and R&B? Jonesing for the tracks laid down by DJs Andy Gil, Chris DeJesus and MasterWeb but stuck at home on a Saturday night? Stop sweating and shaking. You can now listen in to all the fun at
www.swurvradio.com/OPMLIVE.htm as the club at Caesars Palace goes online, streaming live from 11 p.m. to 4 a.m. PST. If you made it to OPM Saturday but find your groove still hungry come Sunday, tune in at noon for the rebroadcast. This Thursday, June 15, also features a special rebroadcast of June 10's party.

Back to Preschoolat Hard Rock

Sunday is bursting at the seams over at the Hard Rock. Along with the thousands of hot and hard bodies swarming the Rehab pool party, there's Body English's prodigious school-themed night. Evidently, that wasn't enough because now you can catch DJ Buckley spinning '80s, rock and house from 8 p.m. to midnight in Simon Kitchen and Bar. Our question: Are thong-clad butts going to stick to the bar stools?

Everyone Into the Pools

Speaking of pool parties, everyone (and we mean as far away as Germany) knows about Rehab. Then there's Cherry's Sunday pool party, with DJ Skribble lording over the tanned and toned. And Relax, the new pool party Mondays at the Hard Rock. And Pure's Monday party at Caesars' stunning Venus pool area. Now comes along the Palms' pool party, throwing its terry-cloth glove on the ground June 23 with Ditch Fridays. An estimated $40 million was put into renovating Skin into the sparkling new Pool at the Palms, and as we reported back in April, things to look for include three pools, with one perched on a raised patio over the gaming area. An impressive lineup of DJs and bands is in place and it's clear Mike Fuller and the N9NE Group are going to give everyone a run (or would that be lap?) for their money. Which raises our second question: With pool parties going from Friday through Monday, does anyone in this town work?

Buona Fortuna, Bella!

Our congratulations go to Patricia Richards, expert mixologist at the Parasol Up Lounge at Wynn. July will find her in Turin, Italy, competing in the 41st Bacardi Martini Grand Prix, one of the world's most prestigious bartending contests. Part of the U.S. team and the second American woman to ever take part, Richards will put her creation, Sunset over Sicily, rim to rim against recipes from 60 other countries, up from last year's 24 entrants.

More Fun Than Cramming for Finals

"The first lounge we opened lost money, but we learned from our mistakes. I told Jason [Strauss], 'Let's just write this off as grad school.'"

—Noah Tepperberg, co-partner of Tao and New York's Marquee nightclub, in the current issue of Maxim.
