Speeding Up The Beat

Tempo elevates the night scene

Justin Jimenez

The ghosts of nightlife have been resurrected back home at the Las Vegas Hilton. From the same property where Elvis Presley owned the evenings, Tempo has been created to give lounge lizards a new spot to unwind. The new high-energy lounge replaces the Hilton's old casino bar, which is just one of the many advances of the hotel-casino's recently completed multi-million dollar renovation.

The chic lounge has hopped on the back of the Strip's lucrative niche of late-night fun, offering tableside bottle service as well as exclusive mixed drinks.

Designed with circular patterns and appealing geometric elements, the 100 lounge seats are complemented by the addition of gaming tables within the lounge. Thirty-three bar seats with video-poker machines are also available for those needing to double up on their vices.

Platforms are sporadically placed throughout the lounge floor, as bartenders and cocktail servers get into the groove, breaking into dances throughout the evening to fuel the upbeat atmosphere.

The open area makes the hang perfect to hunt for playmates for later in the evening, or if you arrive already paired, several private enclaves are available for a more intimate evening of gossip.
