DJ Mark Ronson's Allido Records and the Hard Rock Hotel chain are teaming up to release a limited-edition series of CDs only to be found on-property and at www.hardrock.com. In a statement, Ronson said the CDs "will set the standard for cutting-edge rock 'n' roll." We guess with Tommy Lee spinning vinyl, this sort of genre-blurring was bound to happen eventually.



Naked Girls Unemployed

The strip joint A Hidden Secret has closed and the nightclub A Hidden Secret has opened, both at 5285 Dean Martin Way. Now under the stewardship of comedian and actress Yvette Wilson, together with husband Moochie and "business associate Yusef," according to a press release. Opening November 18, it will see 97.5 KVEG's DJ Alpine spinning while future nights may see hip-hop artists such as Tweet and Lil Wayne stepping up. Hours will be 9 p.m. to 5 a.m. Fridays and Saturdays with a flat cover of $25 for men and women. In a statement, Wilson said, "This is where young Hollywood will come to party." Forgive us for expecting to still see Paris on the Strip, though.
