As every local knows, August is the best month to get all sorts of discounts. This is especially true for shows. Wynn, however, is not a place generally known for catering to those on a budget. For that reason let me highly recommend that locals check out Spamalot this month. This Broadway-to-Vegas production has managed to make the transition better than most of the other efforts, and makes for an outstanding night of fun theatre. This is also one of the last chances to see the phenomenal star John O' Hurley as King Arthur (his final shows are in September).
I checked with Wynn and the best current discounts are 2-1 tickets for up to 4 tickets (depending on availability). What makes this extra cool is it's a local discount that takes care of your out-of-town guests, as not every ticket holder need be a Nevada resident, only the person purchasing the tickets.
