Where’s the best place for our stadium?

Damon Hodge, Joshua Longobardy

Flamingo & Koval:

THE GOOD

It’ll be conducive to filling skyboxes with high rollers and  add a new diminsion to Strip. The corner will finally lose Tupac-murder rep.

THE BAD

It’ll be so full of Strip VIPs it’ll feel like a team for tourists instead of Las Vegans. And the ensuing gridlock will destroy  air quality.

THE UGLY

Vegas will have a stadium, but not a team. If neither  the NHL nor NBA moves in, it’ll start taking biz from the Thomas & Mack.

Downtown:

THE GOOD

Oscar will no doubt throw a great party. Game crowds will be three time as large as those for First Friday. Fans will hit up area bars.

THE BAD

We’d have to put up with Oscar’s gloating. Plus, Downtown’s infrastructure may not be ready, and public services will be stressed.

THE UGLY

It’s still glum, pestilence-ridden Downtown. Worse, REI could sneak in taxpayer subsidies if stadium runs into trouble.

Off Strip:

THE GOOD

Anywhere is better for traffic! Build a master-planned ’hood around it!

THE BAD

We have a hard enough time finding Sam Boyd Stadium.

THE UGLY

If the team sucks, you've got an empty, hulking shell in the desert.
