UNLV shoots for conference title

But the good news is that UNLV is still in the race to win the conference, and with Las Vegas hosting the MWC tournament this year, the Rebels' prospects of making it to the NCAA tournament are better they have been since coach Lon Kruger took control of the team three years ago. He says:

"The biggest thing is that we get a little better every day. The community support has been better with each game this year, and if fans continue to come see us when we're home, it will give us a tremendous advantage."
