Besides being one of, if not the, largest collection of pinball machines in the world, the hall of fame proudly donates all of its profits to charity. But when Retrotopia, a one-day celebration of all things ’80s, including a vast array of games from the classic Intellivision video-game empire, rolls into the museum July 28 (9 p.m. $15), the place of all things that go ding, dort and pow elevates to hypercritical levels of cool. Okay, we admit that the show has been on the decline for years, and the studio’s refusal to show the movie in advance for critics is a little troubling, but we’re still excited to check out the decade-in-the-making The Simpsons Movie, opening in theaters this Friday, July 27.
