After attempting a musical evolution on their last album, The Donnas return to their roots, playing up the glam on their seventh studio effort. “Save Me” sounds like a long-lost Def Leppard outtake, and “When the Show Is Over” could have come out of the Sunset Strip in 1984. They’ve always owed as much to Motley Crue as to The Ramones; Bitchin’ makes it clear that they’re the little sisters that Vixen never had.
