The masters of cello-metal, who constitute a genre all their own, move even further toward the hard-rock mainstream with this album, featuring guest vocals from the singers of Slipknot, Lacuna Coil and Three Days Grace. The instrumental tunes are best, using distortion to turn a string trio into a headbanging extravaganza. What started as an all-covers gimmick has turned into a genuine (if still slightly gimmicky) original band.
