Though it wasn’t finished in time for the resort’s opening on March 25, the 5-acre outdoor pool complex at Virgin Hotels Las Vegas has emerged as one of its most exciting features. Today, Virgin announced the highly anticipated details of its dayclub, Élia Beach Club, which will make its debut on June 10.

“Élia Beach Club will serve as the ultimate haven for guests as Vegas’ premiere beach club and will offer an unparalleled experience unlike anything else in the Las Vegas resort corridor,” Richard “Boz” Bosworth, President & CEO of JC Hospitality and owner of Virgin Hotels Las Vegas, said in a statement. “As part of the integrated resort model, the outdoor pool experience was one of our top priorities. The desert oasis incorporates an internationally inspired ambiance sure to impress hotel guests, performers and locals alike.”

The multilevel, Mykonos-inspired club will initially be open Thursday through Sunday from 11 a.m. to 1 a.m. and was created by Mio Danilovic, former vice president of nightlife operations for SBE Entertainment and co-founder of Liquid Hospitality, which recently opened the Joia Beach lounge, restaurant and social club in Miami. Las Vegas hospitality veterans Jason “JROC” Craig and Michael Fuller are partners on the project.

“I am so honored and excited to have partnered with Virgin Hotels Las Vegas. My partners and I are looking forward to building Élia Beach Club into one of the best beach club venues, not only in Las Vegas, but the United States,” Danilovic said in a statement. “We aim to deliver a top-tier atmosphere, first-class service and an unbelievable experience, remaining true to everything that the Virgin Hotels brand stands for.”

Élia’s décor and ambiance will reflect the popular Greek leisure destination with influences from other party spots like Miami and Tulum, Mexico. The musical focus will be on all genres of house music and will include DJs and guest performers.

When the club arrives in June, outdoor patio spaces at restaurant and bar spaces Kassi Beach House, Money Baby and Todd English’s Olives should also be open, and the resort pool is also expected to open at Virgin in May.
