MUSIC: CARAVELS Local screamo enthusiasts got an early holiday surprise as Caravels, absent for eight years, emerged from their hiatus. In addition to staging a reunion show, the band has revamped their decade-old album Lacuna, offering a fresh perspective and infusing it with new life ahead of the show. Regional indie rockers King of Heck are set to share the stage and have also released a new track ahead of the show. Their latest, “Army of OK,” holds the spirit of ’90s slacker rock with an enthusiastic, acoustic glow. Earlier this year, local post-hardcore outfit Lord of Death released a four-song EP filled with melodic riffage and emotionally charged lyrics, and they’ll be opening the show and hopefully the pit as well. 9 p.m., $15, Dive Bar, 4110 S.
