Using cardboard, students will create their own larval masks. All students will be asked to devise a physical character based on the shapes and expressions they've proposed in their mask. Students will study mask technique and explore concepts such as tempo, mask zero and counter mask. How do we serve the mask, rather than the mask serving us?
