The Broken Yolk Cafe has opened its second Southern Nevada location in Henderson on St. Rose Parkway and South Maryland Parkway. The new restaurant will be operated by Scale x 3 Management, which also runs the Town Square location. It's open Monday through Friday from 7 a.m. until 2 p.m. and Saturday and Sunday from 7 a.m. until 3 p.m. For more info, visit thebrokenyolk.com.

Rosa Mexicano recently announced its first Las Vegas location, at the Miracle Mile Shops at Planet Hollywood, set for late 2023. Plans for the 12,000-square-foot space include bright pink colors, a balcony overlooking the Strip and a variety of dining areas, plus three bars and a to-go frozen margarita station. Winnie & Ethel’s Downtown Diner, winner of the Great Las Vegas Coffee Shop Giveaway, will hold a pop-up dinner on January 25 at 6 p.m. at Eat on Carson Street while preparing to open its diner at the Huntridge Center later this year. Tickets are $32 and can be purchased through Eventbrite.

Gaetano’s in Henderson will team with Campari and Cocktail & Sons Syrups to host a five-course cocktail dinner pairing classic Italian dishes with Italian-inspired cocktails on January 26 at 7 p.m. Tickets cost $125 per person, and reservations can be made through Open Table. The Nevada Chapter of the National Hemophilia Foundation’s eighth-annual Winter Wine Fest will take place January 28 at 6 p.m. at the outdoor heated patio at Bella Vita, 4965 Blue Diamond Road. The event will include an unlimited wine tasting, hors d’oeuvres, a silent auction and more. Tickets ($40) and sponsorships are available at hfnv.org.

RPM Italian at the Forum Shops at Caesars has launched its new sommelier experience, a curated five-course dinner led by wine director Allison Curatolo, featuring limited availability wines from the restaurant’s cellar. A dedicated sommelier guides guests through the dinner, hosted at a table in the intimate sommelier station. The menu changes nightly based on the selected wines.
